New book on the county’s historic gardens

Historic Gardens of Oxfordshire is latest volume in the series covering the counties of England, published by Tempus Publishing. The author is the well-known garden historian Professor Timothy Mowl of the University of Bristol’s Department of Archaeology & Anthropology.

The book was launched in Oxford in May 2007. A further 10 further books are planned over the next five years, bringing the total in the series up to 16.

AGT Conference at Worcester College, 2011
